A common question that I hear from people starting waist training is how to hide the fact that they are wearing a waist trainer under their clothes.
For some women, they may not care if you can notice the shaper under their clothes but for other women they don’t want anyone to know or start asking them any questions.
Once you start really getting into your waist training program you are going to have to start wearing your shaper for longer periods of time, which may mean you have to wear it out of the house to work, out with friends, or just running errands.
There are a few tricks you can try if you want to hide your waist trainer under your clothes.
A Waist Shaper Is Easier to Hide Than a Lace Up Corset
If you really don’t want anyone to know you are following a waist training program you will have an easier time trying to hide a simple latex waist shaper rather than a steel boned lace up corset.
With a corset you have to worry about hiding the laces in the back as as well as the boning may show through certain tops as well.
With a latex waist shaper it has more of a sleep structure without any laces or actual boning showing through. There are some waist shapers that look like a simple shaping garment that you would wear anyways to smooth out any lumps or bumps you may have under your clothes.
Keep this in mind when you start your waist training especially if you really don’t want everyone to know you are using a shaper.
Avoid Thinner Materials
The heavier material you wear, the better it is going to cover any type of shaper you may be wearing. Avoid wearing any really lightweight tops or dresses in which they are almost see-through unless you have a camisole underneath.
Even in the warmer months you can still find heavier material t-shirts and blouses without having to dress in sweaters or sweatshirts. Just try to avoid any of those lightweight single layer tees that show everything underneath.
Wear a Body Shaper Camisole Over your Waist Shaper
A great way to really cover up your waist trainer under clothes is to wear a body shaper camisole under your clothes but over the trainer. I recommend a body shaper camisole because they are usually heavier in nature and help to smooth things out, but you could find any spandex material camisole if you wanted.
You could invest in a few different colored camisoles such as white, black, and nude so you have something different with your outfits. It’s your choice if you want the camisole to be seen under your regular shirt or not.
Be Confident In Your Waist Trainer
Although this may not necessarily help you hide your trainer under your clothes, there really is nothing to be ashamed about when it comes to wearing a waist trainer. You may not want to answer questions from people or want everyone to be able to see your corset, but having confidence in the way you look just makes you happier all together.
Stop worrying about what other people may think and just think about your goal of that hourglass figure with that tiny little waist you are going to be rockin’ soon.
